Diaporos has a rich history dating back to the 7th century BC, when ancient Greeks used it as a grain store and pirate hideout. In the Byzantine era, it served as a place of exile for political prisoners. During World War II, the German army occupied it as a highly fortified base for submarines and torpedo boats. Remains of German bunkers are still visible today.

Located on the east side of the island, the Blue Lagoon is a magnificent natural swimming pool with crystal-clear waters and white sand. Surrounded by beautiful pine trees, it offers a peaceful, secluded atmosphere ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and diving.
