Do I need a boat licence to rent a boat in Vourvourou?
No. Deep Blue Rent a Boat rents boats with engines of up to 30hp, which you can drive in Greece without a boat licence. Before you leave, our team shows you how to drive the boat, explains the safety equipment and gives you a map of the area.
Where is Deep Blue Rent a Boat located?
Our base is in Vourvourou, Sithonia, Halkidiki, 50 metres before the entrance to the village on the left side of the main road and a few metres from the beach. Diaporos Island lies directly opposite.
How long does it take to reach Diaporos Island and the Blue Lagoon by boat?
From our base, Myrsini beach on Diaporos is about 10 minutes away and the Blue Lagoon about 15 minutes, depending on the weather, the number of people on board and your speed.
How many people can a rental boat take?
Our boats take 5 to 8 people. The Nireus Spirit Ω53 and the three Blu Water B 170 boats take up to 8, the Tempest 500 and Open Alexander 460 up to 6, and the Fish & Fun and Tempest 450 up to 5.
Which languages does the Deep Blue team speak?
We serve customers in Greek, English, German, Czech and Russian, so the boat briefing and safety instructions can be given in your language.
